A full visual identity project for one of Albufeira’s most iconic beachfront hotels. From aerial cinematics to interior photography, this campaign was designed to highlight everything guests value most, location, atmosphere, and experience.
The Challenge
Grand Muthu Oura Hotel approached me with a clear objective:
capture the full essence of the resort, hospitality, lifestyle, architecture, and atmosphere, all in a single day.
With only one shoot window available, we planned a 14-hour production day from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, covering sunrise exteriors, poolside lifestyle, rooms, dining areas, and surrounding amenities.
The challenge wasn’t the time constraint, it was ensuring that every frame felt intentional, cinematic, and aligned with the hotel’s positioning. For this project, quality over quantity wasn’t just a philosophy; it was the guiding principle behind every shot.
Project Scope: 1-day full-scale production (photo + video)

Timeline: 10 days from shoot to final delivery
The Creative Process
With only one production day available, the goal wasn’t to capture everything, it was to capture what matters. Instead of a standard “hotel walkthrough” approach, I focused on creating a visual experience that reflected the hotel’s atmosphere, lifestyle, and architectural identity.
My approach:
Precision Location Planning: Built a tightly structured shot list aligned with the property’s strongest natural light, ensuring every key area: pools, facades, suites, dining spaces, was filmed at its ideal moment.
Lighting Strategy: Prioritized sunrise, golden hour, and late-afternoon ambience to elevate colours, textures, and mood, creating warm and aspirational imagery.
Talent & Lifestyle Direction: Guided two models throughout the shoot to create natural, believable lifestyle moments, from poolside relaxation to dining, arrival, and leisure sequences, giving the hotel a human connection and aspirational feel.
Story-Driven Visuals: Treated each area as part of a narrative - arrival, comfort, dining, leisure, crafting a cohesive story rather than disconnected scenes.
Aerial & Ground Integration: Combined cinematic drone movements with smooth interior and exterior camera work to showcase the hotel at scale and in detail, offering both immersion and clarity.
Quality Over Quantity: Every frame was intentional. With limited time, the focus remained on crafting high-impact visuals that strengthen the hotel’s digital presence across web, social media, and marketing campaigns.
